Bokeh Thursday!

Hello hello! I apologise for it being so long since I blogged, I hope you all had a lovely 2011 and are ready for the adventures we have ahead of us in 2012.

Last last year I made a group on Flickr called Bokeh Thursday where you take a bokeh photograph which has to somehow be based around the weekly theme then post it in the group on a Thursday.
Each member get's to post one photograph per week and everyone in the group comments on other people's photographs as it is nice to give each other support and friendly advice when necessary, if not just words of encouragement.

The theme for each week is posted Friday morning for the following Thursday...obviously. I would absolutely love it if you have a Flickr account to join this group. If you don't know how to do a bokeh or you don't even know what a bokeh is my moderators and I can teach you. It's pretty simple once you have got the hang of it, it just takes practice.

Long Time, No Blog!

Hello everyone!

Oh I am so sorry I haven't posted anything new recently. I have been away and only got back a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been able to blog in a long time and to be honest I feel that it is just too much for me to catch up on the project 365 section here. So from now on I am just going to blog when I can about anything new that's been happening or any new events. I shall also be posting up outtakes from photo shoots etc, so look forward to that. But that's all really. I am now a proud owner of another lens, a 55-300mm zoom lens. I wanted to get my hands on a macro lens but I ended up getting this baby instead. On my Flickr I have photos uploaded from using the zoom so go check them out...that is all.

Day 70

I am one of those people that love handwriting things, I feel as though it is more personal. I recently started writing a novel but I am being quite strange and writing it all by hand, simply because I feel I am closer to the story and I will be able to get what I want to get across more if I hand write it. Here it is, but it is all copyrighted so I wouldn't even think of stealing my work, thank you! Haha.

Day 69

A bit awkward this photo, I must admit...no make up, just woken up, I poured water over my head in my back garden, neighbours on looking and Bradley thinking I am a complete nutter doing this! But am I bovvered?! Anyway...it hasn't actually rained here in London for about a week now and yes I am a nutter, but I am not nutty enough to start doing some rain dance haha! My nose looks big in this photo...guhh. 

Day 68

I loved today's challenge, absolutely loved it, I took about 5 or 6 different natural textures but this one by far was my favourite. Isn't it gorgeous? I love mornings! Especially this morning, you know those mornings where you get up and you're all toasty warm and have a big smile on your face...that was me this morning. Ha! I feel today is going to be a rather good day. I am off swimming in about 20 minutes, I am also thinking of starting spinning classes...but not sure. I have done some more of my WTJ too, photos will be posted later.

Day 67

I actually found today's challenge pretty hard. I read all the information about 'rule of thirds' that Our Daily Challenge gave us but I still couldn't quite get it. Then I got to college and Shannon explained it all to me, thank you Shannon! So I got home, and found out that the Nikon D3100 doesn't do the 3x3 grid (not what I could find, anyway) so I had to guess then cropped it down in Picnik as they had the 3x3 grid, so I tried my absolute best and that I promise. I spoke to one of my tutors today who said he can get me Adobe Photoshop for £150 instead of the ridiculous price it normal is...even though to me personally, £150 is still very expensive. So I have to put some money aside for that. I still had enough to get myself a lovely Coffee Tumbler from Starbucks today, ooooh I love it. I am glad I got it, woohoo! I will have to some how slip it into the Daily Challenge tomorrow hehe. Anyway, take care lovelies!

Oh I do know that the post-it notes in the background are really distracting but didn't notice until I uploaded it onto Flickr, and to be absolutely honest with you...I can't be bothered to take another one haha, shows how devoted I am, doesn't it? (in my cockney accent) "Am I bovvered?"

Day 66

Okay, so this is my first ever Macro Monday on Flickr...it turned out pretty well actually. I don't really have much to say about today so murr. Sorry! One thing is...I need more ProMarkers.
